Yasmin has been with us about 2 years now and has recently become even more involved in CTP Party with her starting to run her own postcode area. She works in the main office in Hampshire helping Sophie when she is out of the office, packing parties and of course entertaining on weekends! Yasmin has come a long way since the first time she met the CTP Team back at a free charity event in The Key Centre in Fleet where she watched Hannah and Mall entertain over 45 kids at a Jedi Charity Event…and here are what she thinks of it all!
I’m Yasmin and I’ve always loved performing…….I have studied dancing, singing and acting since a young age. Before my CTP journey began, I worked in HR, admin and events. Did I ever imagine I’d find my calling as a Children’s Entertainer? No, but I could not be happier that I did!
I have worked all over for CTP! Princess parties in Southampton and Portsmouth, Disco Dotti in Swindon, Sergeant Stricto in Sailsbury, Christmas Elf in Andover, Tinkerbell in Farnborough, Supergirl in Frimley, Fun & Fashion in Aldershot, Jedi Academies in Guildford, Horsham and Kingston, Halloween appearances in Bristol and Reading (to name a few!) There is truly never a dull moment in the life of an entertainer.
My favourite character to dress up as has to be a Princess, particularly Elsa & Anna, Belle, Rapunzel or a Jedi Knight. Our Jedi Academy parties are so much fun to host too!
My favourite parties so far?
Alice in Wonderland’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on a boat; we had a proper tea party whilst playing games on a real narrow boat! Another favourite would be “Make me a Princess with Queen Elsa”. We had a royal ball, the girls got to pick from our selection of Princess dresses, and we even decorated our own cupcakes!
I’ve been given the opportunity to work with CTP not just as an entertainer but building my own business. I work weekdays and weekends, and I do all of my own parties. My area covers the whole of the SL postcode, including Windsor, Eton, Maidenhead, Holyport, Slough and Taplow!
I never knew that my career would take me in this direction, but being in a job that I adore every second of is incredible and I am very lucky.
